Did you ever wonder where we got the idea to have bathrooms? There is an interesting history behind the development of bathroom and all the bits and pieces associated with it.

Bathrooms today provide:

  • comfort
  • plumbing
  • privacy
  • hygienic conditions.

This is the result of thousands of years of civil engineering and changes in society.

Humans have always had the need to use toilets and baths, it took many centuries to combine these into 1 restroom or bathroom.
